The Three Tail Kitsune is a red fox yokai spirit featuring 3 balls of fox fire and has gold accents. Kitsune have many abilities including illusions, shapeshifting, possession and especially fox-fire. Kitsune are rated in power by their number of tails. Very young kitsune have only a single one. The oldest and most powerful have nine tails.
Kitsume is fox in Japanese. Shapeshifters, with an amazing array of magical powers, they can be tricksters, punishers of the wicked and even messengers of the gods.
