The Spring Stag hard enamel pin features a regal stag with a dark green background and falling pink flowering petals. Seasons of the Stag collection was born from the idea that deer and seasons promote a sense of peace and magic within ourselves. The nature elements of each pin are to highlight the strength and power of each great stag, along with the different seasons, elements, holidays and celestial bodies that symbolize the same spiritual meanings and environments.

Deer have played a significant role in mythology and religion throughout time, cross many cultures. The Celts believe the deer to be a “fairy cattle” that can shape shift into a Fae people like form. In Egypt, Satet the goddess of the hunt, has antlers of a great deer and even the face of a fawn. The hermit Catholic saint, Giles, was known to have a deer companion who assisted in healing. For the Huichol people of Mexico, they believe that the magical deer promotes peace, subsistence, and enlightenment. Deer are the divine messengers to the Shinto Gods of Japan.
