The Button Nisse hard enamel pin is a creature of Scandinavia folklore and myth. He features a red hat nordic design, white beard, blue button and mittens. He is also known as a Tomte or Gnome. He is often associated with the Christmas season and is considered the Scandinavian version of Santa Claus.
